This Privacy Policy explains how CEGA ("we", "us", "our") handles information in connection with the Worm Way mobile application ("the App"). Worm Way is a grid-based mobile puzzle game available on Android.
Information We Collect
Worm Way requires no account creation or login, collecting no direct personal information. Data handling is limited to:
- Advertising ID: Used exclusively by Google AdMob for serving and measuring ads.
- Local Game Progress: Stored locally on your device via Unity's PlayerPrefs configuration and remains strictly offline.
Remote Content Delivery and Version Checking
At launch, the App connects to a remote server (via Cloudflare R2) to scan a static version.json file for seasonal themes or new level packs. Updates are downloaded directly to local storage (persistentDataPath). This process is purely operational and transmits no personal data or tracking metadata.
Advertising
The App displays banner and interstitial ads via Google AdMob, which may collect technical data and identifiers in line with Google's privacy policy. Ad requests adhere to Google Play's Families Policy and COPPA.
Children's Privacy
The App may be used by a mixed audience, including children, but we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. No chat or data entry fields exist.
Local Data Storage and Sharing
Game progress and settings remain in private local storage and are never transmitted to third parties, excepting the Advertising ID processed by Google AdMob.
Data Retention, Choices, and Changes
We collect no user data to retain. You can reset your Advertising ID via Android settings or uninstall the App to clear local progress. Policy updates will be posted here.
