Feel first
We prototype the touch response before we draw a single pixel. If the tap does not feel good, nothing else matters.
Studio
CEGA is an independent mobile game studio. We design, build, animate and ship everything ourselves — which keeps the team small, the feedback loop short, and the games weirder than they would otherwise be.
CEGA began as a folder of prototypes: little mechanics built after work, thrown at friends, and mostly deleted. The ones that survived had something in common — people kept picking the phone back up.
That became the studio's whole filter. We do not greenlight a genre or a trend, we greenlight a feeling. If a build makes someone lean in during the first thirty seconds, it earns a name and a colour palette.
Today that filter has produced Paint Island, our tap-to-fill coloring book for kids, and Worm Way, a gummy worm puzzle out on both stores.
We prototype the touch response before we draw a single pixel. If the tap does not feel good, nothing else matters.
Bold silhouettes, high-contrast colour, zero tutorial walls. You should understand the game before you understand the rules.
No dark patterns, no rage-bait ads. Monetisation a player would choose on purpose.

How we work
One mechanic, one week, one playable build. Most ideas die here — on purpose.
Art direction, game feel, and the loop that makes minute five better than minute one.
Playtests with real thumbs. We cut everything that needs explaining.
Soft launch on Google Play and the App Store, then iterate on what the numbers and the reviews actually say.
We read every message. Usually reply within two working days.
